Industrial Technology Program

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology

Photo of Industrial Technology ProfessionalsThe College of Engineering and Engineering Technology's Department of Technology at Northern Illinois University has developed an exciting new program for the Rockford area, which has been approved for delivery by the State Board of Higher Education.

The program's objective is to provide a part-time evening program which will allow employed technical professionals to utilize their A.A.S. degree as a foundation for a B.S. in Technology. The planned courses have stand-alone application value so professionals holding associate of arts (A.A.) or associate of science (A.S.) degrees can also benefit from the offerings. Students with an associate of applied science degree who wish to achieve a bachelor of science degree with a strong technical base and heavy concentration in manufacturing management are ideal candidates for this program.

Unique Features and Benefits of the Program

  • Complete your B.S. degree while incorporating your A.A.S. course work
  • Share your experience and network with other learners
  • Take one to two courses per semester with courses scheduled nights and/or Saturdays
  • Travel to convenient course locations like Rock Valley College or NIU-Rockford
  • Increase your credentials and marketability
