Computer Science ProgramAcademic RequirementsUndergraduate students must successfully complete 120 semester hours including general education requirements and attain a minimum 2.00 grade point average to graduate from NIU. Students in the general computer science emphasis of the B.S. program in computer science must complete at least 40 upper-division semester hours including the following courses: A minimum of 32 semester hours in requirements including courses on the following topics:
At least 3 semester hours of computer science electives at the 300-level chosen with the advice and consent of the department. A minimum of 3 semester hours of statistics at the 300-level. Additional upper-division electives to fulfill NIU degree requirements.
Students should consult with the adviser for transfer credit consent. |
